HostAdda Server & Network Rules
1. Prohibited Content & Activities
Our hosting infrastructure may not be used for illegal activities under the Information Technology Act of India and international law. Strictly prohibited:
- Phishing sites, fraudulent scams, counterfeit websites.
- Malware, viruses, trojans, ransomware, or botnet command servers.
- Unsolicited bulk email (SPAM), email harvesting, or open mail relays.
- Port scanning, DDoS attacks, unauthorized network penetration.
- Crypto mining software or unauthorized intensive CPU loops on shared tiers.
2. Resource Fair Usage
On shared and reseller hosting servers, users must not excessively exhaust CPU, RAM, or disk I/O to the detriment of neighboring tenants. Sites that exceed allocated thresholds will be throttled or guided to upgrade to Business Hosting or Cloud VPS.
3. Enforcement
HostAdda reserves the right to immediately isolate, suspend, or terminate services found in active violation of this policy to safeguard network security.
